Sandy Point is a luxury, year-round vacation rental getaway
With two family-owned cabins on the east side of Mille Lacs Lake. Located on a sandy point with over 300 feet of lakeshore. Just steps from each cabin takes you directly onto the shores of Mille Lacs Lake to world class fishing and 4 season recreational activities.

Mille Lacs is Minnesota’s 2nd largest lake spanning over 200 square miles. Its maximum depth reaches around
40 feet.
Activities
Fishing: It is home to many different breeds of fish including Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Jumbo Perch, Small & Large Mouth Bass and Tullibee.
Hunting: Deer, duck and grouse hunting.
Swimming: Swimming is permitted in the lake.
Motorsports: 300+ acres of off-road adventure trails. ATVing, motorcycling and snowmobiling are all permitted.
Other Activities: Bird watching, shopping, golfing, horseback riding + more!
dock access
There is a private dock located in a protected channel behind both cabins that is directly off of Lake Mille Lacs. There is no dock on the Mille Lacs side of the lake. Both cabins have both Lake Mille Lacs beach access on one side and the protected channel on the other. The closest boat launch from Sandy Point is Liberty Beach, less than 1 mile down the road. You should plan to bring your own extension cords to run power to your boat. The dock may be shared with the other cabin and can accommodate up to two boats. When entering the channel, it is important to hug the left side upon entry and then hug the far right side.
